Why am I passionate about the cure to SCI?

About 5 years ago, my dad was injured severely in a hiking accident. That caused a level C5 complete spinal cord injury. He was an active man and just retired. He could not move his legs from then on. I felt I am powerless in helping him. I believe there are people in the world who have extra resources to help me. You can contribute your time, knowledge or financial support to my beloved father. He is a brilliant man with a PHD and he is the most soft hearted man I have ever know. Thank you.
